Teach for Peace Corps

Want to help improve education around the world? Peace Corps needs certified teachers. This could be the adventure of a lifetime, whether you're getting ready to retire, considering a mid-career sabbatical, or looking for a change of pace.

Opportunities exist in primary education, secondary education (training teachers and teaching math, science, and English), special education (training teachers), and at the university level (teaching English).

Assignments are 27 months long and include three months of training, transportation costs, medical and dental care, paid vacation, a monthly living allowance, and a $6,075 stipend upon completion of service.

As a Peace Corps education volunteer, you could make a difference in one of 71 countries worldwide, providing classroom instruction, conducting teacher training, and more.

For more information or to apply, visit www.peacecorps.gov or call 800-424-8580, option 1.
