National Board Certification Scholarships Available
For 2008-2009 School Year

The Montana Professional Teaching Foundation will award as many as thirty $1000 federal subsidy scholarships to Montana teachers who wish to pursue National Board Certification during the 2008-09 school year.

National Board Certification is an intense, but extremely valuable professional development process. The state of Montana provides a one-time, $3,000 stipend to teachers achieving National Board Certification, and several Montana school districts offer additional financial incentives!
