SB 96 (Williams) - Revises and reforms initiative and referendum process. Closes loopholes we saw in 2006 with CI-97, CI-98, and I-154, when out-of-state mercenary signature gatherers committed pervasive and widespread fraud. Among other things requires that petition signature gathers be Montana residents and prohibits signature gatherers from being paid by the signature. Read about the bill.

HB 204 (Kasten) - Here they go again. This is CI-97 (SOS/TABOR) all over again. It's the same bad budget cap that New York City multi-millionaire Howie Rich tried to force on Montana in 2006.
