House Bill 447: state pay plan
signed by the governor!

HB 447 (Gallik) incorporates the state pay plan agreement bargained between members of MEA-MFT, MT Public Employees Assoc., and Governor Brian Schweitzer.

Governor Schweitzer signed the bill February 24 at the gates of the Montana State Prison.

It is appropriate that he do so there. Hundreds of state employees labor every day at the Montana State Prison to keep our state safe. 450 of these employees are members of Local 4700, MEA-MFT.

HB 447 is a huge victory. It deserves our celebration!
