About HB 230

To: All House members who voted for HB 230:

It saddens me greatly that you would have anything to do with HB 230, let alone vote in favor of such a bill.

Imagine a group of elected officials giving a license to a person that they like or admire to perform surgery because they think that person can do it.

Granted, those elected officials have not gone to medical school, most have probably never practiced medicine, let alone perform surgery, yet they are given the ability to perform surgery.

Doesn't make much sense does it? I can assure you, that I would NOT allow anyone in my family to be operated on by such a person.

Allowing elected officials to certify a non-educator to teach our children is just as bad. Actually it is probably worse as it directly affects our future, which is our children.

I want only the best for our children. I certainly do not consider anyone who is not trained as an educator to be the best choice for our children.
