MEA-MFT is a grassroots organization run by and for its members. Every member has a vote and unrestricted access to every level of MEA-MFT governance.

MEA-MFT has three governance levels: local, district, and state. We have 300 local affiliates across the state. Local affiliates are organized into 28 districts. District chairs form the state MEA-MFT Board of Directors. Active MEA-MFT members may run for any local, regional, or state office.
